Implementation of deep space exploration project, where  Russian atomic specialists and academic scientists are going to take part, will enable to break through in the field of solar energy and space natural resources exploration, – Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin believes.

At the present time Roscosmos together with a wide range of Ministries in cooperation with Russian Academy of sciences and Rosatom state corporation has to work out the offer about “Deep space exploration” national project feasibility, – Rogozin states in his article dedicated to the Cosmonautics Day.

According to Vice Prime Minister nuclear power systems and plasma technologies of energy conversion, biotechnologies, robotics and new materials will be the key fields of development in the framework of this national project.

This will create necessary conditions for the breakthrough thus we will be technologically ready to explore space natural resources, solar energy, Moon, Mar and asteroid resources.
The realization of the project will enable to redefine the cooperation and consolidate the potential of all key organizations, first of all Rosatom state corporation, united rocket and space corporation and Roscosmos, coordinate financial resources for efficient and task-oriented use and exclude the financing of similar projects, – he added.

We should not afraid to dream, to set the highest standards. Russia has everything necessary for new space breakthrough. We just have to learn how to combine romanticism and realism and organize our activities the best possible way, – Rogozin concluded.
