Russian specialists continue preparing Soyuz-ST-b booster with Fregat-MT upper stage and two European space devices Galileo FOC for the launch from Guiana Space Centre (French Guiana).

Yesterday Progress Rocket and Space Centre specialists  docked 3rd stage block with the booster while Lavochkin and TSENKI specialists filled Fregat-MT upper stage with propellant components and pressurized gas. Russian specialists also prepared all launching complex systems and facilities for the installation of the booster.

Autonomous tests of Soyuz-ST-B booster control system, pressure adjustment of nose fairing opening system spherical tank and final operations after filling Fregat upper stage with propellant components are planned for today.

All operations are  being accomplished by Russian specialists in Guiana space Centre in accordance with the schedule.

Soyuz-ST-B booster with Fregat-Mt upper stage and two Galileo FOC space devices launch is planned for 16:31, Moscow time, August 21.
