ISS orbit was adjusted on August 27, at 12.37.

The adjustment took place nominally. According to telemetry data ATV-5 cargo vehicle thrusters have been operating for 178,68 seconds. As a result of this maneuver the station got velocity increment of 0,43 m/s, ISS orbit increased by 1 km.

The orbit was adjusted to create better conditions for Soyuz TMA-12M manned spacecraft landing . Soyuz TMA-12M crew comprising Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemyev and NASA astronaut Steven Swanson will return to the Earth on September 11, 2014
