Preparations works for Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft launch are under way at Baikonur spaceport. On September 10 the specialists started preparing famous # 1 so called “Gagarin” launchpad for the launch scheduled for September 26.

Yuzhny Space Centre specialists prepare launchpad equipment, vent the fuel from railway tanks to underground storage and movable facilities.

On Friday, September 12, Baikonur will greet Soyuz TMA-14M spacecraft crew that are going to pass final trainings at the spaceport.

The main crew comprises Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexander Samokutyayev and Elena Serova and NASA astronaut Barry Wilmore, the back-up crew includes Gennady Padalka (Roscosmos), Mikhail Korniyenko (Roscosmos) and Scott Kelly (NASA)
