On Tuesday aerospace defence troops operational crews successfully launched Russian medium booster Soyuz-2.1b to orbit Ministry of Defense satellite, – Ministry of Defense representative on aero defense troops colonel Dmitry Zenin reported.

The booster was launched from Plesetsk spaceport on 19.44, Moscow time, The launch took place nominally.

Space device separated from the booster as planned, Aerospace Defense took control over it.

It was the 3rd   Soyuz-2 booster series launched by aerodefense troops from Plesetsk in 2015. The previous launch took place on June 5, 2015 (Soyuz-2,1a), and was also a success.
