ISS orbit was adjusted today, on September 7, 2015.

According to calculations by MCC ballistics and navigational support service specialists Progress M-28M cargo vehicle thrusters were ignited at 07.25, Moscow time and have been operating for 538 seconds.

As a result the station got velocity increment of 0,55 m/s.

After the maneuver station’s orbit increased by 1 km and amounted to 401.9 km. Other parameters are as follows:

Minimum altitude above the Earth surface – 401,8 km;

Maximum altitude above the Earth surface – 419,3 km;

Orbit time – 92,541 min;

Orbit inclination – 51,665 degrees

The orbit was adjusted to form station’s working orbit to provide for Soyuz TMA-16M spacecraft landing planned for September 12.
