Director General of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin and the leadership of space agencies of the U.S., Europe, Canada and Japan will discuss the collaboration for future lunar exploration by a videoconference on June 9. This was reported to TASS by a source in the rocket and space industry.

“The meeting on the collaboration for the future lunar exploration will be held on June 9 by a videoconference involving the head of Roscosmos and the leadership of space agencies of the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan,” said the source.

According to the source, at the particular request of NASA Head Jim Brandenstein, the issue of countries’ contributions to the implementation of the American lunar program “Artemis” will be addressed during the negotiations. The participants will also discuss the cooperation on the International Space Station.

In turn, Rogozin will make a presentation on the testing of new Russian modules for the space station and the work on a forward-looking manned spacecraft “Orel”.
