On Sunday, September 27, ISS-64 mission crews both prime and back-up left for Baikonur from Chkalovsky airfield located in Moscow region by two different planes.

In several hours the planes successfully landed at Krainy airfield.

The cosmonauts as well as operational crew members in charge of preflight trainings settled  at  GCTC training centre premises where the cosmonauts will be passing final preflight training for who weeks and a half.

On Monday, September 28, the crews will have Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft fit-check.

The launch is planned for October 14. The prime crew comprises Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and NASA astronaut Kathleen Rubins.  The back-up crew members are Oleg Novitsky, Ryiotr Dubrov (Roscosmos) and Mark Vande Hai (NASA).
