The postponement of Proton-M booster launch with European Astra-2G space device won’t affect the launch of Proton-M with Yamal-401 telecommunication satellite planned for December 26.

The launch of European Astra-2G telecommunication satellite scheduled for November 28 was indefinitely postponed. Proton-M booster already installed on the launchpad will be transported back to the integration building.

At Plesetsk spaceport Aerospace Defence troops are preparing Soyuz-2.1b booster for Glonass-K new generation space device launch scheduled for December 1, 2014.

Soyuz-2.1a medium booster with Meridian telecommunication satellite was launched from Plesetsk spaceport in Arkhangelsk region.

On October 21, 2014, at 19.09, Moscow time, Russian space industry launching crews successfully launched Proton-M booster with Briz-M upper stage and Express-AM6 telecommunication space device from #81 launchpad of Baikonur spaceport. On October 22, 2014, at 04.31, Moscow time, Express-AM6 space device reached the target orbit and separated from the upper stage.

Two satellites designed by Samara State Aerospace University students and scientists are planned to be launched in the framework of the first launch from Vostochny spaceport late 2015.

On September 28, at 00:23, Moscow time, Russian space industry launch crews successfully launched Proton-M booster with Briz-M upper stage and Luch space device from #81 launchpad of Baikonur spaceport.

Preparation works for the launch of Proton-M booster with Briz-M upper stage and Luch telecommunication satellite are under way at Baikonur spaceport.

New Russian Bion-series satellite is to be developed by 2019, - Institute for Biomedical Problems Director Deputy Vladimir Sychov reported. – With the help of this satellite the scientists will be able to study space radiation impact on living organisms which is of great importance for Mars flight preparations.
