At Baikonur Cosmodrome the preparation of the “Soyuz MS-16” manned spacecraft continues for launch on April 9, 2020 under the program of the 62nd and 63rd main expeditions to the International Space Station.

In accordance with the training schedule, specialists of the enterprises of Roscosmos State Corporation performed an on-site inspection of the ship at the stand of the Assembly and Testing building of platform № 254, performed technological operations for rolling the head fairing and checked the launch readiness of the ship as a part of the head part.

The main crew of the “Soyuz MS-16” manned spacecraft includes commander Anatoly Ivanishin, flight engineer 1 Ivan Wagner and flight engineer 2 Christopher Cassidy.

Their backups are cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Andrey Babkin and astronaut Stephen Bowen.
