34 OneWeb communication system satellites  launched from Baikonur with the help of Soyuz-2.1b booster and Fregat upper stage successfully inserted into the final orbit.

The rocket was launched from Baikonur on September 14 at 21.07,Moscow time. At 21.16 the upper stage with the satellites entered suborbital trajectory. It took the upper stage 3 hours and 45 minutes to distribute the satellites along the orbit.

It was the 15th Russian launch for commercial needs accomplished in 2021. As Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Rogozin said before this year Russia is going to perform 29 commercial launches.

Besides it was the 100th launch of Fregat upper stage. The first ever Fregat launch took place in 2000.
