Progress M-24M cargo vehicle undocked from the ISS and will be flying in space up to November 20. During the flight “Reflection” scientific experiment will be conducted onboard the vehicle, – Roscosmos representative reported.

The vehicle undocked nominally at the time planned, – the spokesman stated. Progress M-25M cargo vehicle will arrive on October 29.

Progress M-24M cargo vehicle launched from Baikonur spaceport delivered to the ISS propellant components, oxygen, foodstuffs, scientific equipment and parcels for crew members.

Up to November 20 it will be taking part in the next stage of “Reflection” scientific experiment earlier conducted with the help of progress M-61, Progress M-65 and Progress M-05M cargo vehicles.

The experiment is aimed to explore the possibility of optical signals transmission for further study of earth’s atmosphere alterations with the help of cameras installed at different angles to the Sun.
