On June 26, 2018, the technical management and the state commission at the Baikonur cosmodrome confirmed the readiness of the “Progress-MS-09” transport cargo vehicle to refuel with fuel components and compressed gases.

In accordance with the decision, announced at the end of the meeting, a combined propulsion system and a refueling system for a cargo ship are allowed to work at a filling station.

The equipment of the filling station is ready for operation.

Before shipping the product to the gas station, the “Progress-MS-09” cargo vehicle was balanced and weighed.

The operations for refueling of the spacecraft with fuel components are scheduled for June 27-28.

The launch of the “Progress-MS-09” cargo vehicle by the “Soyuz-2.1a” carrier rocket is scheduled for July 10, 2018 from the platform 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome.

The ship will deliver to the ISS about 2.5 tons of various cargoes, including dry cargo, fuel in the tanks of the combined engine system and refueling system, water and compressed gases.
