Beijing saw the first meeting of interstate Committee on Russian and Chinese satellite navigation. The decision to form the Committee was taken in October 2014 at the meeting of Russian Vice Prime Minister and Chinese State Council Deputy Chairman.

In the framework of Federal Space Agency delegation official visit to PRC Roscosmos Head Igor Komarov met with Chinese national space administration Chairman. They signed Committee regulations and Protocol of the first working meeting and discussed a wide range of issues on Russia and China cooperation in the field of rocket and space industry and rocket engines production. Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Andrey Denisov also took part in the meeting.
