Today, on July 1, 2019, specialists from Roskosmos enterprises completed the general assembly of the “Soyuz-2.1b” rocket in the Assembly and Testing building of the Vostochny cosmodrome.

In accordance with the work schedule, the head part and the third stage are assembled with the “package” (including the first and second stages) of the launch vehicle.

The rocket is installed on the transport and installation unit and is ready for roll out to the launch pad on July 2.

The launch of the “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle with the “Fregat” upper stage, the Russian meteorological spacecraft “Meteor-M” № 2-2 and other associated satellites is scheduled at 08:41 (Moscow time) on July 5, 2019.
