The “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle with the “Fregat” upper stage and 34 satellites of the OneWeb communications system was successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on March 21, 2020 at 20:06 (Moscow time).

After 562 seconds, the head part was separated from the third stage of the carrier.

The separation of nine groups of satellites (in the first group – two, in the rest – four) from the upper stage passed normally in accordance with the flight schedule.

All 34 satellites were successfully launched into their target orbits.

The launch of spacecrafts was carried out under the contract between Glavkosmos (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) and Arianespace (France) in cooperation with other enterprises of Roscosmos State Corporation – RSC “Progress”, NPO Lavochkina and TSENKI.
