Preparations for the final launches in 2014 are under way at Baikonur. Today, on December 24,2014, rocket and space industry specialists rolled out two boosters to the launching pads of the spaceport.

In accordance with the decision taken by State commission on space complexes flight tests Soyuz-2.1b with Russian earth remote sounding satellite Resource-P №2  was rolled out to #31 launchpad. The rocket was installed with ground facilities being attached to it. Launching crews started working in accordance with the first launching day schedule.

Resource-P №2 space device launch is scheduled for December 26 2014, 21.55, Moscow time.

At the same time Proton-M with European telecommunication satellite Astra-2g was rolled-out to #200 launching pad. The rocket was also installed with service truss attached to it. All works are being accomplished in accordance with the schedule.

The launch of Proton-M booster with Astra-2G satellite will take place on December 28, 2014, 00.37, Moscow time.
