Rocket and space industry specialists go on preparing Soyuz TMA-16-M manned spacecraft for the launch.

On February 16 the spacecraft was transported to the integration building of 2b launchpad where it has been passing leak tests. On February 25 works in vacuum chamber were successfully completed and the spacecraft was returned to #254 launchpad where Russian rocket and space industries operational crews installed it on the facility with ground equipment connected to it.

The launch of Soyuz TMA-16M spacecraft is scheduled for merch 27, 2015, 22;43, Moscow time. The main crew comprises Gennady Padalka (Roscosmos), Mikhail Korniyenko (Roscosmos) and Scott Kelly (NASA), the back-up crew – Alexey Ovchinin ( Roscosmos), Sergey Volkov ( Roscosmos) and Jeffrey
