The first launch of Angara-A5V heavy booster with test payload will be performed from Vostochny spaceport in 2023, – as stated in Russian Federal Space program draft for 2016-2025.

Draft program also specifies that the rocket is to deliver to the orbit new generation manned spacecraft. Two more launches with the help of Angara modification are planned for 2025, resulting in manned Moon fly around by new spacecraft.

First we will orbit the spacecraft with interplanetary orbital tracker and upper stage, in the course of the second launch one more interplanetary tracker and  oxygen-hydrogen upper stage will be launched.

Roscosmos Science and Engineering Board Chairman Yuri Koptev reported earlier that preliminary project of the booster will be ready by the end of the year.

New Angara development is of great importance at the present time. We have considered technical  proposal by Khrunichev Centre( for new rocket design) and will use it. Late this year there will be one rocket as preliminary project, – Koptev said.
