Russian Molnia military communication satellite set into the orbit about 10 years ago will enter dense layers of atmosphere on Friday, June 14,2013, – Space Trash Research Center of Aerospace Corporation reports.

Molnia 3-53 space device developed by JSC “Academician Reshetnev” Information Satellite Systems was launched by Molnia-M medium class booster on June 20, 2003 from Plesetsk cosmodrome. This satellite was designed to transmit a TV signal to “Orbit” stations network and to operate as a part of satellite communication integrated system of Russian Armed Forces.

According to specialists calculations the satellite weighting 1,74 tons is to enter the atmosphere at 16.22 (GMT) on June 14, 2013 (20.22 Moscow time) plus or minus 14 hours.
