Today, on June 14, 2019, in accordance with the decision of the State Commission, the “Proton-M” launch vehicle with the upper stage “DM-03” and the new “Spectrum-RG” orbital observatory were rolled out from Assembly and Testing building of site 92A-50 to the launch pad.

Roll out of the “Proton-M” launch vehicle to the launch pad began in the morning at 4:30 (Moscow time).

Now a launch vehicle with a spacecraft has been delivered to the launch pad of the site 81 of the cosmodrome, installed on the launcher in a vertical position.

After approaching the service truss and connecting communications to the rocket, specialists from Roscosmos enterprises began work on the schedule for the first launch day.

The work plan for the next 7 days includes performing an autonomous checks of the spacecraft, launch vehicle, upper stage, comprehensive tests of the control system of the launch vehicle, as well as inspections of ground equipment of the launch pad.

On the morning of June 21, a meeting of the State Commissions will take place, at which decisions will be made on refueling and the launch of the”Proton-M” space rocket, scheduled at 15:17:14 (Moscow Time).

Together with the “DM-03” upper stage, they will launch the Russian “Spectrum-RG” astrophysical observatory into orbit.
