At 05.54, Moscow time, October 22 Soyuz MS-16 descent capsule successfully landed in the estimated region of Kazakhstan. The crew coming back comprised Roscosmos cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin, Ivan Vagner and NASA astronaut Christopher Cassidy.
All landing operations took place nominally; crew commander and both flight engineers feel well.
Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner will go to Star City to pass medical rehabilitation and accomplish post-flight scientific experiments program. They will be under doctors’ supervision for several weeks.
Soyuz MS-16 was launched on April 09,2020. Anatoly Ivanishin, Ivan Vagner and Christopher Cassidy spent 196 days aboard.
The crew currently working onboard the ISS comprises Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov, Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and NASA astronaut Kathleen Rubins.
