On February 07 at 00.42 (Moscow time) “Soyuz-2.1b” rocketr with OneWeb telecommunication satellites was successfully launched from Baikonur.

This launch marked the beginning of the most large-scale satellite launching campaign.

During this launch 34 satellites were inserted into the orbit.

Totally the OneWeb plans to deploy on the low Earth orbit about 600 satellites, that will start operating in 2020.

By 2021 OneWeb is going to provide the Earth with telecommunication cover 24 hours a day.

Next rockets will be launched from Kourou, Baikonur and Vostochny launch sites, 17 launches will be performed from Russian sites.
