Specialists from the RSC “Energia” (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) and other Roscosmos-related enterprises at the Baikonur cosmodrome inspected the “Progress MS-12” cargo spaceship and performed technological operations on rolling of the head fairing of the launch vehicle “Soyuz-2.1a”.

The preparation of the spacecraft for launch according to the program of the International Space Station is carried out in the Assembly and Testing building of spacecrafts at the Baikonur cosmodrome.

The launch of the “Progress MS-12” spacecraft is scheduled for July 31, 2019.

The ship must deliver onboard the ISS the fuel, food, water, scientific equipment and other goods, necessary for the operation of the station in manned mode.
