The Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolay Tikhonov and Andrey Babkin successfully passed the test according to the program of scientific and applied research and experiments on simulators of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS).

The launch of the “Soyuz MS-16” spaceship, which will deliver the crew to the station, is scheduled for April of this year.

Less than three months are left for the final preparation.

Work on the examination began like a normal day at the ISS, with an inspection of the station, checking on-board documentation and radiograms.

Then the cosmonauts began to perform experiments of a different orientation.

The examination committee gave the Russian members of the ISS-63 main crew a good rating.

The cosmonauts examination was supervised also by the Hero of the Russian Federation, pilot-cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin, a participant of two long expeditions to the ISS, who had a lot of interesting research onboard of the station.
