Space industry specialists completed general assembling of Soyuz-U booster and Progress M-29M cargo vehicle to be launched on October 1, 19.49, Moscow time.

“Technical authorities together with State Commission took a decision on booster and cargo vehicle roll-out and installation.”

On Tuesday, September 29, rocket and space industry launching crews rolled out Soyuz-U booster with Progress M-29M cargo vehicle from the integration building and installed it on #1 launchpad of Baikonur spaceport (Gagarin launch).

The specialists started working in accordance with the first launching day schedule. In a couple of days the specialists will check all systems of the launchpad and the boosters. Upon completion of checks Sate Commission will take a decision on booster’s readiness for filling with propellant components and launch.

Progress M-29M is going to be the last cargo vehicle of its line. In November it will be modernized Progress-MS to deliver cargoes to the ISS.

Apart from equipment and all that stuff necessary for maintenance works Progress M-29M will deliver to the station sweets and fresh fruits for crew members.
