Preparation works for the next launch of Proton-M booster with Briz-M upper stage and Express-AM6 satellite are under way at Baikonur.

On October 13 Khrunichev and Yuzhny Space Centre  started  general assembling of the rocket docking the booster with the space head. Today upon completion of electrical testing the rocket will be transported to the fuel servicing area where Briz-M upper stage low-pressure tanks will be filled with propellant components.

Space device was delivered to Baikonur on May 26, 2014 and has already passed all the necessary tests. The launch of proton-M booster with Briz-M upper stage and Express-AM6 telecommunication space device is scheduled for October 21. The roll-out of the booster to #81 launching pad will take place on October 18.
