At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the Progress MS-19 cargo spacecraft preflight preparation continues for launch under the 80th resupply mission to the International Space Station.

On February 7, 2022, at the Site 254 assembly and testing facility specialists from Rocket and Space Corporation Energia (a part of Roscosmos) and Roscosmos specialized enterprises mated the Progress MS-19 spacecraft to the adapter section of the launch vehicle’s third stage block.

The adapter section is part of the spacehead unit, mechanically connecting the spacecraft with the payload fairing and integrating the spacecraft command interface into the Soyuz-2.1a rocket onboard control system. After the mating was completed, the onboard radio system and other service systems were tested.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with Progress MS-19 is scheduled for February 15, 2022 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
