On the evening of November 29, the “Soyuz MS-11” spacecraft as part of the head unit was transported to the general assembly with the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle in the assembly and testing complex at the site № 112 of the cosmodrome Baikonur.

On November 30, a complex of technological operations for the general assembly will be carried out during the day in preparation for the launch under the International Space Station (ISS) program.

Before sending the head unit with ЭSoyuz MS-11″ spacecraft for a general assembly, a “second fitting” was carried out – a vehicle inspection in the launch configuration, during which crews took their places in the ship, familiarized themselves with the placement of the payload and equipment in the descent vehicle and living compartment and in test mode tested the performance of various systems, including a communication system.

The launch of the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle with “Soyuz MS-11” spacecraft is scheduled for December 3, 2018, from the launch complex № 1 (Gagarinsky start) of the Baikonur cosmodrome.

The main crew of the ISS-58/59 expedition is the Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, CSA astronaut David Saint-Jacques and NASA astronaut Anne McClain.

Their backups are Roskosmos cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov, ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano and NASA astronaut Andrew Morgan.
