On Monday, January 19, space flight participant Sarah Brightman who will be a crew member of Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft started  her training in Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre.

For half a year Sarah Brightman and her back-up Japanese enterpreneur Satoshi Takamatsu who has already started preparing for the flight last week will pass trainings on Soyuz TMA-M spacecraft systems, survival trainings, biomedical and scientific preparations and learn the Russian language.

The launch of Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft with Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Volkov, ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen and space tourist Sarah Brightman is scheduled for September 1, 2015.
