ISS orbit was adjusted on September 14, 2015.

According to MCC ballistics and navigational support service specialists calculations Zvezda service module thrusters were ignited at 04.12, Moscow time, and have been operating for 130 seconds. As a result the station got velocity increment of 2 m/s.

After this maneuver the station’s orbit increased by 3,5 km. Other parameters are as follows;

–       minimum altitude above the Earth surface –  405,57 km;

–       maximum altitude above the Earth surface – 419,04 km;

–       orbit time – 92,60 minutes;

–       orbit inclination – 51,67 degrees

Orbit was adjusted to form working orbit to provide for Progress M-29M cargo vehicle docking with the station.  The vehicle will be launched on October 1, 2015.

Previously  The ISS orbit was adjusted on September 7. That time it was increased approximately by 950 meters and amounted 402 km. Cargo vehicle thrusters have been operated for 550 seconds.
