On Monday Proton-M booster with Astra 2G space device was installed on the launching pad of Baikonur spaceport, - Khrunichev Centre representative Alexander Shmygov reported.

The first launch of new Russian Angara heavy booster from Plesetsk spaceport is scheduled for December 25.

At 04:30 on October 18 Proton-M booster Briz-M upper stage and Express-AM6 satellite was transported from fuel servicing area where Briz-M low-pressure tanks were filled with propellant components to # 81 launching pad.

On October 13 Khrunichev and Yuzhny Space Centre started assembling started general assembling of the rocket docking the booster with the space head. Today upon completion of electrical testing the rocket will be transported to the fuel servicing area where Briz-M upper stage low-pressure tanks will be filled with propellant components.

Two railroad trains with the first heavy booster “Angara-A5” parts arrived today to Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region.

Angara booster won't be demounted from the launching pad. Roscosmos Head is coming to plesetsk wi study the results of launch abort cause investigation.

Angara booster forst test launch scheduled for June 27 was postponed. New launch date will be announced later.
