Specialists of RSC Energia launched a new series of experiments to evaluate the man-machine interface of "Federation" spaceship.   Information management formats are what is displayed on the cosmonaut's console: a pictorial representation of on-board systems, processes and flight modes, as well as signaling and commands that the crew can issue. In the plans of specialists - working out all modes of the ship's flight: from launching to docking and transition to the flight path to the Moon.

On July 27 a schedule for the creation of a single integrated engine building structure on the base of NPO "Energomash" has been agreed upon and signed. Dmitry Rogozin visited NPO "Energomash", where together with the company's management made a by-pass of the production facilities. He noted the high level of production culture, and also discussed the possibilities of increasing the reliability of rocket and space technology.

Today, July 17, 2018, "Roskosmos" State Corporation has signed a state contract with RSC "Energia" for the creation of a new-generation middle class space rocket complex with a "Soyuz-5" carrier rocket. The document, in the presence of the General Director of "Roskosmos" Dmitry Rogozin was signed by Nikolay Sevastyanov, First Deputy of General Director of the State Corporation "Roskosmos" and General Director of RSC "Energia" Sergey Romanov. These works of RSC "Energia" should be carried out in cooperation with enterprises, that are part of the "Roskosmos" state corporation.

On July 2, 2018 a series of training sessions on the actions after landing of the spacecraft on the water surface starts and will last until July 20, 2018. Six crews will participate in the "water survival", including seven Russian cosmonauts, six NASA astronauts, one JAXA astronaut.

Sergey Krikalev, Executive Director for Manned Space Programs of State Space Corporation “Roscosmos”, and Dr. Yusuf Namad Al Shaibini, General Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, signed an agreement to start providing services for a flight on the International Space Station (ISS) of a UAE cosmonaut. The signed agreement is preliminary, the final agreement will be concluded before the end of August this year. The subject of the main agreement and this preliminary signed agreement are services for the selection, training for the flight and flight of one UAE cosmonaut on the ISS.

On June 17, 2018 at 00:46 (Moscow time) from the State Test Cosmodrome “Plesetsk” military crew of the Russian Space Forces launched a space rocket , that include a “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle, the “Fregat” booster block and “Glonass-M” Russian navigation spacecraft. The launch was conducted under the general supervision of the commander of the Space Forces, the deputy commander-in-chief of the Air and Space Forces, Colonel- General Alexander Golovko. The launch of the launch vehicle and the launch of the spacecraft into the calculated orbit were held in the regular mode.

The "Soyuz MS-09" spacecraft on June 8, 2018 successfully docked to the docking site of the research module "Rassvet" of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS). The ship's approach to the station was performed on a a two-day scheme according to the flight program. The rapprochement was carried out in an automatic mode under the supervision of the specialists of the Main Operational Group for the Management of the Russian Segment of the ISS in the Mission Control Center and Russian crew members of spacecraft and station.

Today on June 6, 2018 at 14:12 (Moscow time) at Baikonur cosmodrome from the launchpad № 1 ("Gagarinsky start") launched a carrier rocket “Soyuz-FG” with a "Soyuz MS-09" spacecraft. After 8 minutes and 48 seconds, the ” Soyuz MS-09” spacecraft was completely separated from the third stage of the launch vehicle in a given near-earth orbit and continued its autonomous flight to the International Space Station under the supervision of specialists from the Russian Flight Mission Control Center.

On June 4, 2018, at the Baikonur cosmodrome, specialists of Roscosmos enterprises rolled out to the launch site a “Soyuz-FG” carrier rocket with a “Soyuz MS-09” spacecraft. After the rocket was installed in the launch system and the service farms were attached, the specialists of the Roscosmos enterprises started to work according to the schedule of the first starting day.
