On Wednesday morning Progress M-26M cargo vehicle docked to the ISS increased medium altitude of station’s orbit by 2 km, – spokesman for MCC reported.

Progress M-26M thrusters were ignited at 05:15 UTC (08:15, Moscow time) and were operating for 737 seconds. As a result ISS medium altitude was increased by 2.14 km and amounted to 400,2 km.

According to him orbit adjustment was necessary to provide optimal ballistic conditions for Soyuz TMA-15M spacecraft undocking and backflight to the Earth scheduled for may 14.

According to MCC ballistics and navigational control service after adjustment the ISS parameters are as follows:

-minimum altitude – 400,4 km;

– maximum altitude – 413,6 km;

– orbit time – 92,08 min.;

– orbit inclination – 51,6°
