“Multisided space” photo exhibition winners were awarded at MAKS-2013 airshow on Saturday for their contribution to cosmonautics and aviation progress, the organizator of international Airshow reported. (JSC “Airshow”)

“Multi-sided space” photo exhibition organized by JSC “Airshow” took place in Multimedia Art Museum within the period of May 29 – June 31, 2013.

“We’d like o award the winners and make a point that cosmonautics needs more attention”, – “Sputnik” (Satellite) Insurance Centre President Vyacheslav Shabalin said, awarding the winners.

The winners are Olga Balashov with her photo “ Soyuz-2.1A booster preparation for the launch”, Leonid Faerberg who made “Moscow 2013”shot, Dmitry Savitsky with his “ Dnepr booster first launch from “ Yasny” launching base’ made on July 12, 2006 and Igor Zheleznyak “Startrail”. The work “Buran” by Mikhail Gribovsky made on June 23,2013 in the course of scpaceship transportation to Zhukovskiy attracted great attention.

The works of best aviation and space photographers were selected to be awarded in the presence of legendary Soviet cosmonaut Georgy Grechko who is also famous for his space photos.
