Today, on May 31, as part of the preparation of the “Soyuz MS-09” spacecraft for launch under the International Space Station program, the members of the main and backup crews conducted a so-called “second fitting” – a control inspection of the ship in the starting configuration.

Cosmonauts and astronauts took their seats in the ship, in the test mode checked the performance of various systems, including the communication system and specified the location of the cargo.

For tomorrow, June 1, according to the schedule, the head unit of the “Soyuz-FG” carrier rocket with the “Soyuz MS-09” spacecraft is scheduled to be transported from the assembly and testing facility of spacecraft to the final assembly facility of the launch vehicle .

The launch of the “Soyuz-FG” carrier rocket with the “Soyuz MS-09” spacecraft will take place on June 6, 2018 at 14:12:41 Moscow time from the site № 1 (Gagarin start) of the Baikonur cosmodrome.
